LECTURE: “The EndoColibri Irrigation System – A Novel Approach Integrating Apical Negative Pressure, Ultrasonic Activation, and Negative Shockwave Technology.”

Dennis Köhrer studied engineering at the Technical University of Aachen and earned his dental degree from the University of Witten/Herdecke. He combines his engineering background with clinical expertise to develop innovative products and techniques that align with his vision of advancing modern root canal treatment.

He is a Specialist Member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE). His passion for clinical endodontics, development, and teaching has led him to speak at leading international universities, institutions, and congresses, including the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), Harvard University, New York University (NYU), La Sapienza University in Rome, the University of West Virginia, the Jefferson-Einstein-Philadelphia Hospital Endodontic Program, Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Florida, and many more.

Dr Dennis Köhrer holds several patents in the field of endodontics and has developed instruments for endodontics, such as the EndoCowboy®, a tool for the removal of fractured instruments from root canals, and the EndoColibri, an innovative irrigation system for enhanced root canal disinfection. As the founder of Köhrer Medical Engineering, he collaborates with clinicians to develop practical solutions that improve endodontic treatment outcomes.

In his free time, he is passionate about music and loves to restore classic cars.
