Dr Francesc Abella

Dr. Francesc Abella graduated in 2005 in dentistry from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain. From 2005 to 2014, he completed his master’s degree and PhD in endodontics at the same university. He works in a private practice limited to endodontics and restorative dentistry in Barcelona, and in clinical endodontics, his areas of special interest include CBCT in endodontics, microcomputed tomography, dental anatomy, dental traumatology, periapical pathology, adhesive restoration and restoration of endodontically treated teeth. Besides his work in private practice, he is involved in endodontic research projects in the postgraduate endodontic program of the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. Over the years, Abella has given several lectures and hands-on courses worldwide. He is the author of several papers in peer-reviewed journals and part of the expert committee convened by the European Society of Endodontology on the use of CBCT. Abella is also an active member of the Asociacion Española de Endodoncia [Spanish association of endodontics] and the secretary of the Sociedad Española de Odontología Conservadora y Estética [Spanish society of conservative and esthetic dentistry].

Dr L. Stephen Buchanan

University of Southern California School of Dentistry and private practioner in Santa Barbara. Dr. L. Stephen Buchanan, was valedictorian of his class at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, completed the Endodontic Graduate program at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1980. Since that time he has maintained a private practice limited to endodontics in Santa Barbara, California, where he lives with his wife and two children. He also serves as an assistant clinical professor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, Department of Graduate Endodontics. In 1983 he established Dental Education Laboratories, and subsequently built a state-of-the-art teaching laboratory devoted to hands-on endodontic instruction, where he continues to teach today. Through Dental Education Laboratories he has lectured and conducted participation courses around the world, published numerous articles, and produced an award-winning video series, The Art of Endodontics. Dr. Buchanan began pursuing 3D anatomy research early in his career, and in 1986 he became the first person in dentistry to use micro CT technology to show the intricacies of root structure. He continues this work today, using his own micro CT scanner to produce research, leading-edge multimedia and educational resources.

Prof. Bekir Karabucak

Prof. Bekir Karabucak graduated from the Istanbul Univeristy (Turkey) where he received his DDS degree. Then he continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania, where he gained DMD degree and MS in Oral Biology. Next he finished his postgraduate endodontics training at Penn University. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the Department of Endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and fills the position of Interim Chair of Department of Endodontics at Penn University. He also is a Director of the Division of Advanced Dental Education School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Director of Postdoctoral Program at School of Dental Medicine and a practicing endodontist. At the same time Dr Karabucak is an attending physician at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He also works as Endodontics Clinic Director at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. He is a beneficiary of many proffessional awards, a member of scientific societies. Besides he is an author and reviewer of many publications and a lecturer often presenting at congresses.

Dr Meetu Ralli Kohli

Dr. Meetu Ralli Kohli is Assistant Postgraduate Program Director at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, Endodontic department. She helps coordinate postgraduate and undergraduate endodontic clinical and academic courses.

Prof. Sam Kratchman

Prof. Sam Kratchman was born and raised in New York. He received a B.S. in Biology and a D.M.D. both from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. Sam then entered the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a certificate of endodontics, and currently serves as an Associate Professor of Endodontics and the Assistant Director of Graduate Endodontics, in charge of the microsurgical portion of the program. Prof. Kratchman has authored several articles and chapters on endodontics and intentional replantation for the Microsurgery in Endodontics textbook, and the Dental Clinics of North America. He also developed a patented instrument called the S Kondenser for the obturation of root canals. Both Main Line Today and Doctor of Dentistry magazines honored Dr Kratchman as the cover story for their "Best of " issues. Prof. Kratchman lectures on several topics of endodontics throughout the United States, Europe, Scandinavia, South America, and Asia. He also maintains two private practices, limited to endodontics, in Exton and West Chester Pennsylvania.

Dr Wojciech Bednarz

In 1986 he graduated from Medical Academy in Wroclaw. Later on he has received a PhD degree with his research on gum recession treatment

Dr Mariusz Bołzan

A graduate of the Pomeranian Medical University, a specialist in periodontology. He participated in courses, workshops and conferences, most often in the field of muco-gingival surgery and implantology.

Dr n. med. Witold Jurczyński

In 1992 completed medical studies at Jagiellonian University, Collegium Medicum. Second degree specialist in periodontology since 1999. The doctor of medical studies since 2003. A member of American Academy of Periodontology. Since 1993 organizes practical courses as well as lectures in the field of laserotherapy, parodontium diseases treatment and periodontics microsurgery.

Dr Aleksandra Łyżwińska

Aleksandra Łyżwińska graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw, with which she later joined associated as a lecturer and assistant at the Department of Conservative Dentistry with Endodontics. She is passionate about adhesive dentistry, modern composites and minimally techniques invasive and vital pulp treatment. In his trainings he proves that caries doesn’t have to be boring, and the bond in the bottle is as exciting as the bond in the bottle cinema. From 2020, he conducts courses in the field of conservative dentistry for dentists, cooperating with various training centers and as a scientific consultant Kuraray Noritake.

Dr Agnieszka Wąsewicz

She graduated from the Medical University of Bialystok. From the beginning of his career, the state of endodontics is up to date. In this direction, she also gave her 2016 diploma and specialization with an examination title with technique in the country with the title of specialization in the field of conservative dentistry with endodontics. He constantly raises his qualifications in specific courses and training in the country and abroad. He is a member of the Polish Endodontic Society. Lek. stom. Tomasz Jerzy Zbożeń

Lek. stom. Tomasz Zbożeń Has graduated from Medical University of Silesia in 2005 r. He Works alongside his father in a dental practice In Kielce. He runs workshops in Endodontics practical implementation of 3D Digital Implantology. Member of the Polish Endodontic Society, member of the American Endodontic Society (AAE). He undertook doctoral studies at the Faculty of Postgraduate Education at the Medical University of Lodz. He enrolled in the Endodontics Department of the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) in Philadelphia.
